Native Bird Collection

The Native Bird Collection is designed to help create bird-friendly garden spaces using carefully selected Australian native plants.

This collection includes a mix of low-growing wildflowers and small shrubs chosen for their ability to provide food and shelter for native birds.

Once established, these plants can help attract nectar-feeding species such as honeyeaters, red wattlebirds and spinebills, as well as seed- and insect-feeding birds including finches and wrens.

The collection includes a combination of throw-and-grow seed bombs and hot water treatment seeds, supplied in a biodegradable germination bag with a full instruction leaflet.

Hot water treatment seeds should be soaked in hot water (close to boiling) for approximately five minutes prior to planting to support successful germination. Full instructions are provided.

A mix of annual and perennial species is included to encourage ongoing habitat and bird activity over multiple seasons.
