Bush Tucker Seed Collection

The Bush Tucker Seed Bombs collection is an educational way to explore native Australian food plants and understand where flavour begins.

This collection features a carefully selected mix of edible native species traditionally used for food, including native herbs, vegetables, and fruiting plants such as wild tomato, wild jack bean, native thyme, and breakfast raisin.

The seeds are prepared using traditional germination techniques, including smoke and hot water treatment, which help trigger sprouting in many native species. A full instruction leaflet is included to guide you through the process.

Seed bombs are formed from natural clay and compost, which help protect the seeds until conditions are suitable for germination. Once established, they support gradual growth into edible native plants.

These seed bombs can be used in open garden spaces or pots, making them suitable for a wide range of garden sizes and growing environments.

Hot water treatment seed bombs are supplied with a biodegradable germination soak bag. Smoke-treated seeds are provided with smoke-infused granules to support smoke-assisted germination.
